In other news, Susan Boyle’s debut album, “I Dreamed a Dream”, is likely to become the fastest-selling album of 2009, after it smashed its first day sales targets. In particular, there have been a large number of purchases made in Scotland, where Susan fans have been keen to support their fellow Scot - HMV have had to double their stock of the album in the last few days to meet the Scottish demand.
Margaret Alexander, 52, from Edinburgh, told The Scotsman that she never normally went into High Street music stores. “But you’ve got to back your own, haven’t you?” she said.
The Rolling Stones have also reissued their version of “Wild Horses” after Susan’s version was shown on the X Factor in the UK.

Susan Boyle’s Version of “Wild Horses” is Better, Says Mick Jagger
Mick Jagger has apparently said that Susan Boyle’s version of “Wild Horses” is better than the Rolling Stones original version. The song was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and appeared on the 1971 Stones album, Sticky Fingers.
During an interview on New Zealand Radio, reported on Irish Central, DJ Ewing Stephens quoted Mick as saying that the Susan Boyle’s version of the song was a “ghostly version, much better than” anything “he had ever done.”
So it would appear that Mick Jagger is a Susan Boyle fan. Perhaps the two of them should do a duet?

Susan Boyle Receives A Compliment From Lulu
Lulu has said that she will be delighted if Susan Boyle gets the number one position on the American singles chart with her debut single, Wild Horses, according to an article in the Daily Record.
Lulu herself topped the US charts with her debut single “To Sir With Love” when she was just 15 years old in 1967. Lulu, who is a big fan of Susan, has said that she has “a rare wee voice”.
However, Lulu has said that it might be hard for Susan to cope with the pressure of being famous.
She said: “It is hard to say if Susan Boyle mania is justified. It’s amazing.
“It steps over into celebrity and that is hard to deal with. In a way, it would be better to just let her sing her song and go home. But you have to take both.
“I just hope she is going to be able to handle it because it’s not easy. Everyone can trip up and have their hiccups, but it is about how you recover.
“When I found fame, it was very exciting and scary at the same time. I was carried off in a whirlwind. I had a very nice manager who was a mother figure, so I was fortunate.
“It’s hard to do the work if you don’t have the right people around you.”
Susan Boyle Mania Grips Celebs Too!
Susan Boyle mania is not just restricted to ordinary people. American A-list celebrities have been affected too!
According to the Daily Mirror, Susan has been “inundated” with requests from celebrities who want to meet her. At the top of the list are Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, who are expected to meet Susan back stage at America’s Got Talent. Ashton and Demi’s “tweets” are what started the Susan Boyle Youtube internet phenomenom, bringing Susan to the attention of millions of Americans.
