Susan Boyle Perfect Day Video
Susan Boyle singing “Perfect Day”.
The video was directed by Lou Reed, as Lou and Susan have “made up” following the licensing issues that prevented Susan singing “Perfect Day” on America’s Got Talent in September.
Lou told the Sunday Mail, “I wanted to create a beautiful and intimate piece shot in Susan’s native Scotland and she quickly agreed”.
Susan added, “I loved that Lou understood how much it meant to me to film in Scotland. I didn’t mind how much it rained or blew a gale, I enjoyed every minute”.

In other news, Susan Boyle is reportedly backing Mary Byrne to win the X Factor in the UK. Mary has apparently been struggling to cope with the pressure of appearing on the reality TV show. Speaking to the News of the World, Susan said she thought that Mary could win.
She said: “Mary’s a wonderful lady. I struggled in the same way. It’s difficult. But Mary, you can keep going!
“Mary’s got a fantastic voice and I don’t view her as competition. I view her as a fellow artist.”
Susan Boyle Interviewed About Intruder
STV have exclusively interviewed Susan Boyle about the intruder she found at her home after returning from recording the Haiti single.
During the interview, Susan confirms that she will be remaining in her Blackburn home.
She told STV: “I’m very well, thank you, and everything’s now under control and is being dealt with by the police and by those concerned. I’m a lot calmer than I was last night.
“There’s absolutely nothing to worry about.”
“He did give me quite a scare, but I think he got more of a scare than I did because he made off! But these things have to be looked at the appropriate manner by the appropriate people, and I’m sure it’ll be sorted out very soon.”
Asked is she was considering moving home, Susan confidently replied: “I’m staying right where I am – there’s nobody pushing me out of my house, nobody’s going anywhere.”
She ended the interview by happily waving to and joking with the attending Paparazzi.

Susan Boyle’s Japanese Performance
Here is a video of Susan Boyle’s Japanese performance. Susan today performed on Japan’s biggest and longest running New Year’s Eve TV show Kohaku Uta Gassen. When Susan was asked to give her impressions of Japan, she replied: “Wow!”
(The time in Japan is GMT+9, the time in New York is GMT-5; hence 14 hours time difference between Japan and New York, which is why Susan’s performance is already available.)
Note: the last two videos I posted have been removed from YouTube by NHK due to a copyright claim, so I don’t know how the long the above video will be available – watch it while you can!
Update: sorry, it now appears that the above video doesn’t work anymore either
and I can’t find another.
However, I did find this one of Susan speaking a little Japanese.
Susan Boyle Sings “Fame” in Uncovered Video from 1998
Another Susan Boyle video has been uncovered. This one is from 1998, and our favourite lady is singing “Fame” in a talent competition in the Wishaw & District Ex-Servicemen’s Institute, Lanarkshire, in 1998. Susan was 37 at the time.
The video was made by Andrea Mains, whose daughter Charlene was competing in the same competition. Andrea recalled:”It is really ironic to watch Susan singing Fame when, 11 years later, she’s known all over the world.”
The video was posted on YouTube by the wonderful Haricornflake, who posts loads of great Susan Boyle videos.
Susan Arrives at Lax on 7th November – Videos
Here is a video of Susan Boyle when she arrived at LAX on November 7th. Susan is smiling and looks relaxed and happy. The reporter on the video asks Susan what she thinks of Sharon Osbourne, to which Susan replies: “She’s very nice, a very nice lady”.
As Misti in Seattle said to me “What a classy lady!! No wonder we all love her.”
Another comment from Youtube: “When it comes to talent and integrity, I can’t think of any entertainer who compares with Susan Boyle”.
Thanks Misti, for bringing my attention to this video.
And here’s another video, posted by a lady on YouTube – she bumped into Susan Boyle while she was waiting to welcome a relative.
Susan was a wonderful, a cheering, and a down to earth person. I can imagine that she was tired from her long flight but that didn’t stop her to come by and shake our hands. This is for the world to know that she’s a great person.

?Susan is a huge talent and it would be interesting to work with her.?
Jon has been a fan of Susan Boyle since she became an internet sensation as a result of Britain’s Got Talent.
