Susan Boyle to move to London According to Media Reports

Susan Boyle to move to London, ChelseaSusan Boyle has agreed to relocate to London – probably Chelsea – according to reports appearing in today’s media.

The Scotsman reports that executives at Syco, the record label owned by Simon Cowell,? have persuaded Susan to move following break ins at her home in Blackburn, West Lothian.

The record label have said that Susan’s flat will be “cat friendly”, so that Pebbles can live there with her. However, it is common knowledge that Pebbles now lives with another lady due to Susan’s constant travelling, so I personally am not convinced whether or not Pebbles will be reuniting with Susan. I think we shall have to wait and see on that one…

We also know that Susan wanted to stay in her ex council home in West Lothian.

However, a source told the Scotsman: “She has now agreed to move to a place in the city, where she’ll stay when busy working. During promotion commitments it is thought she will stay for weeks at a time.

“To see her in a secure location will ease a lot of minds.”

It is hoped that Susan will have moved into the new property by summer, and he management are currently looking for suitable apartments for her.

Susan Boyle and Pebbles

There are lots of media stories around at the moment about how Susan Boyle isn’t living with Pebbles any more. However, those of you who watched the Dutch TV interview that Susan did last week will know that this is old news. There is no need to blow this out of proportion – Pebbles is temporarily living with with retired accountant Pamela Eaton-Browne whilst Susan is travelling all the time, so that Pebbles the pussy is not constantly disrupted.

If Pamela Eaton-Browne has any space, I wonder if she wouldn’t mind looking after me. I hear that Pebbles has chicken at lunchtime and for tea has poached or steamed fish. One could do a lot worse…

Susan Boyle turns down LA move

Susan Boyle and PebblesSusan Boyle has turned down a move to Los Angeles to live with the rich and the famous, according to an article in today’s Sunday Express.

According to the article, Susan’s main reason for turning down the move is that she does not want to uproot her pet cat, Pebbles.

Executives at Sony Music offered Susan the opportunity to live in a ?10 million rented mansion in a secure and exclusive California community after the most recent break in at her council home in Blackburn, West Lothian. However, Susan is worried that a move would upset Pebbles, saying: “Pebbles doesn’t want to move. She’s lived there all her life and cats hate upping sticks”.

A source from Sony was quoted as saying:

?Susan told us she couldn?t possibly be happy without her cat with her, even though we told her we?d fly Pebbles over here too. She seemed terribly sad but said she feared her pet might not survive the flight and, even if it did, might not settle by the ocean.

?She blew us away. We even offered her a housekeeper, assistant and a chauffeur but she stuck to her guns.?

Susan has lived in her ex council house home since she was born.

A friend of Susan’s said: “She is a home-buddy. I couldn?t see her leaving everyone she has here.?

However, not everyone thinks it would be a good idea for Susan to move to LA. Scottish presenter Ross King, who lives in Los Angeles, says she is better off staying where she is. He said: ?LA is the toughest of tough towns to live in. There are people here who might try to take advantage of her. I think she would find it very very hard.?

Susan Boyle Interviewed on Dutch Television

Susan Boyle was interviewed on Dutch television on January 29th, on the TROS channel.

Interviewed in her own home by Ivo Niehe, Susan revealed that she had “never been happier” and was enjoying life “immensely”.

She added that she was still living in the same place which kept her grounded, and would be staying there: “Maybe not forever, but for a good bit”.

Pebbles, Susan’s cat, now lives with a lady called Pam in London, so that her life is not disrupted by Susan’s travel arrangements. However, Susan still sees her all the time.

You can watch the whole interview below. God bless the Dutch for speaking such perfect English and not dubbing Susan’s voice.

Susan Boyle on “Das Supertalent” in Germany

Susan Boyle performing in GermanySusan Boyle has had some amazing success during 2009. Despite this, she maintains that she is still the same person that she was before she appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent.”

Talking to People Magazine, she said: “I still have my former life. I still live in the same house. My life hasn’t changed. I travel more. I see places I never thought I would see. There is nothing I miss, because I have everything I had before ? it’s just a little more interesting now.”

However, Susan did admit that she enjoyed some perks of the job – meeting Donny Osmond, for instance. “I met Donny Osmond. He was very nice. We talked about how important it was to stay grounded,” she said. “He bought me some purple roses, and they were very beautiful.”

Susan has also spent a little money on her ex council home in Blackburn. “I have bought a few things for my house ? a red couch and some cushions,” she said. “It’s important to keep your house looking nice, and it is great to be able to buy these things.”

Susan also spoke about her beloved cat, Pebbles. “Pebbles is blissfully unaware of everything that is going on. She lives with a very lovely lady while I am away working, and she is thriving. I visit her when I can, and I can travel knowing that she is in safe hands and being pampered.” Lucky Pebbles!

Meanwhile, Susan appeared on German television in their “Das Supertalent” on December 12th in Cologne, Germany. You can view her amazing performance here:

Susan Boyle arrives in New York

Susan Boyle arrives in New YorkSusan Boyle has arrived at JFK airport in New York, in readiness for her live performance on NBC’s Today show this morning. She will get to explore the Big Apple on Tuesday.

Susan will be singing three songs from her debut album, which was released today, at Manhattan’s Rockefeller Center.

“The album itself is like a reflection on my whole life,” Susan says. “I’ve waited so long to become a professional singer and now it’s become real.”

In other news, Susan has confirmed that she won’t be moving out of her ex council house home in Blackburn, West Lothian, any time soon.

?I don?t want to be moving an inch away from my family, and Pebbles doesn?t want to move,? Susan said, speaking to the News of The World.

?She?s lived there all her life and cats hate upping sticks.

?I?m the wee wifey with the mop and the cat next door. It?s what keeps me grounded ? remembering I am just that wifey. And Pebbles would hate to live anywhere posh.?

And here is Susan Boyle being interviewed as she arrived in New York, by GMTV’s Sue Jameson:

Susan Boyle Album Photo

susan-boyle-album-photoSusan Boyle’s management company have released the first picture from the photo shoot taken to promote her album last night ? showing her smiling in the countryside of the Ardkinglas Estate in Cairndow, Argyll.

This photo, or another taken during the same shoot, will feature on the album cover, according to the Daily Mirror.

Meanwhile, another song rumoured to be on the album is a cover of Madonna’s 1995 track “You’ll See”.

A source told The Sun: “Susan chose it herself – it’s a song she has loved for years.

“She sang it at auditions for TV shows and music contests when she used to be cruelly turned away by people.

“At the end, when she was sometimes reduced to tears, she used to say, ‘You’ll See’.

“And she’s proof she can do it now as one of the most famous women in the world.”

In order to help Susan prepare for life on the road to promote her CD, both she and Pebbles, her cat, received a makeover, with Ms Boyle receiving a private shopping treat at Harrods in London.

According to reports, she purchased six designer dresses before subsequently going? to Suzanne Neville?s nearby boutique. Pebbles, meanwhile, received the full works at a top pet salon.

A source told The Mirror: ?Susan was very excited.

?She had never been to Harrods and they treated her like royalty. She was ushered into a private area and given personal shoppers.?

I expect Susan was more appreciative of the pampering than Pebbles.

Susan Boyle misses Liverpool gig

susan-boyle-with-pebbles1Susan Boyle did not perform at the Liverpool Britain’s Got Talent show last night, as according to a report in today’s Mirror, she was feeling unwell again.

The report indicates that Susan was again feeling stressed because she has spent too long apart from Pebbles, her cat, although Susan’s spokeswoman denied this to say that Susan was “just tired”.

It has already been stated that Susan would have sporadic rest days during the tour, so I don’t think that we need to sensationalise this into something that it isn’t.

One of the shows producers said: “It’s a shame for fans but her health comes first.”

Pebbles is very lucky to have such a devoted owner in my view.

Susan Boyle and Pebbles

susan-boyle-with-pebbles1I now have a photo of Susan Boyle with Pebbles, after a sharp eyed reader of this site noticed that Pebbles appears in the Susan Boyle semi-final video on Youtube. I also notice that The Sun seem to have taken the same screen print as me from the video!

The Sun also say this morning that Susan Boyle and Pebbles are moving into a luxury private appartment that Simon Cowell is renting for her.

I have to say, Pebbles is a very handsome cat. Look at those big alert eyes and that intelligent face. I can understand why Susan wouldn’t want to be apart from him for too long.

It is believed that her cat, Pebbles, will be staying with her in London, as his travel box was seen arriving at Susan’s home in Blackburn.
