Susan Boyle to return to Number One on Billboard 200?
Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream” album may retake the Number One spot on the Billboard 200 next week, according to the Billboard website, as she is predicted to sell a further 80,000 copies of her album in the US by Sunday 24th January.
The upsurge in sales is as a result of Susan’s chat and performance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, although her segment was only 20 minutes long. Adam Lambert’s segment took up the balance of the hour long broadcast.
Susan Boyle on The Oprah Winfrey Show – The Interview
Susan Boyle appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show last night, and performed a song from her album – Who I Was Born to Be. Susan confirmed that her original audition for Britain’s Got Talent was virtually a year ago to the day on January 21st, 2009. Susan referred to her original audition as “When I was let loose!”
Susan also demonstrated her famous hip wiggle on the show.

Here is a preview of next Tuesday’s Oprah Winfrey show which will include segments with Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert.
… and here is a short segment in the “Rumour Control” section of Extra TV, about whether Susan Boyle is engaged (of course she isn’t!). The report is by Terri Seymour and hosted by Mario Lopez.
Susan Boyle to Appear on Oprah this Tuesday
Susan Boyle will be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show this Tuesday.
A source from the production company has told me that Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle will join Oprah on stage.
“Susan Boyle will share her Cinderella story of going from total obscurity to becoming an international singing sensation overnight, while Adam Lambert allows the Oprah cameras an exclusive glimpse inside his new found rock star life.
“It?s sure to be an entertaining and inspirational show for all!”

Susan Boyle’s Vocal Coach to appear with her on Oprah
Susan Boyle?s management team are flying Susan’s vocal coach, Yvie Burnett, to America to join Susan Boyle for the pre-recording of Oprah.
Yvie Burnett has a great relationship with Susan, offering her support and advice, and of course, she is a fellow Scot.
A source told the Daily Mirror: ?Yvie gives Susan support and she attended the TV special.
?Susan likes having Yvie there. Her team decided it was worth spending thousands to get her there even if it was only for one song and at the last minute.?
Yvie herself said: ?So I?m off to Chicago for 24hrs. It?s ?5 there! It?s in the 70s here. I only packed for LA ?coz I didn?t know I was going!?
According to The Mirror, the show will be screened in the US next week.
Susan Boyle not Number One on Billboard 200 from Wednesday
It has widely been predicted that Susan Boyle will not be number one for a seventh week on the Billboard 200, as it is expected that new kid on the block, Ke$ha, and her album, Animal, will take over the number one slot.
I am still expecting Susan Boyle to appear on Oprah at some time in the future. Some reports suggest that the interview will be taped tomorrow, and aired at a later date. According to the Chicago Tribune, Adam Lambert will appear on the same episode of Oprah as Susan Boyle.
Adam has apparently tweeted: “Happy as a clam. Off to Chicago tomorrow morning to film Oprah.”
Back to Ke$ha, the spelling of her name is giving me wicked ideas. Should Mr Cowell perhaps change his name to $imon?
Susan Boyle is scheduled to sing for Oprah Winfrey on Tuesday’s show, according to an article in today’s Orlando Sentinel. Also appearing are Jackie Evancho, the 10-year-old who wowed the judges on ?America?s Got Talent.?
Susan Boyle returned home to Scotland yesterday, after her brief visit to the US for the pre-recording of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
