Susan Boyle Statue
A tribute to Susan Boyle, in the form of a statue, has been created by Spanish artist Luz Roberta, an art student at Wimbledon College Of Art in London.
The statue is 3ft (1 m) high, and has its arms outstretched as though it were singing “I Dreamed a Dream” to a rapt audience.
Luz told The Sun newspaper: “Some of the younger students didn’t share my same love and enthusiasm for SuBo at first – but they really like her statue.
“A lot of locals from the neighbourhood have also stopped to admire the piece.”
Luz told me: “Although I was a painter for many years, Sculpture is a new path for me.”
