Susan Boyle on “Das Supertalent” in Germany
Susan Boyle has had some amazing success during 2009. Despite this, she maintains that she is still the same person that she was before she appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
Talking to People Magazine, she said: “I still have my former life. I still live in the same house. My life hasn’t changed. I travel more. I see places I never thought I would see. There is nothing I miss, because I have everything I had before — it’s just a little more interesting now.”
However, Susan did admit that she enjoyed some perks of the job – meeting Donny Osmond, for instance. “I met Donny Osmond. He was very nice. We talked about how important it was to stay grounded,” she said. “He bought me some purple roses, and they were very beautiful.”
Susan has also spent a little money on her ex council home in Blackburn. “I have bought a few things for my house — a red couch and some cushions,” she said. “It’s important to keep your house looking nice, and it is great to be able to buy these things.”
Susan also spoke about her beloved cat, Pebbles. “Pebbles is blissfully unaware of everything that is going on. She lives with a very lovely lady while I am away working, and she is thriving. I visit her when I can, and I can travel knowing that she is in safe hands and being pampered.” Lucky Pebbles!
Meanwhile, Susan appeared on German television in their “Das Supertalent” on December 12th in Cologne, Germany. You can view her amazing performance here:

Susan Boyle to sing in Las Vegas with Donny Osmond
Susan Boyle is set to duet with Donny Osmond in Las Vegas, according to an article in the Daily Mirror.
The Puppy Love singer, Donny, now aged 51, has asked Susan to be the guest of honour at the Las Vegas review show he promotes with his sister Marie.
Susan can’t wait to appear on stage alongside Donny. And who can blame her!
An insider said: “Donny has written to Susan inviting her to duet with him and she can’t wait. It’s a dream come true.
“She idolised him as a girl and still has all his records. He’s a genuine hero and inspiration to her.”
Susan might perform with Donny as early as next month!
Donny Osmond has invited Susan Boyle to sing a duet with him
Donny Osmond has invited Susan Boyle to perform a duet with him.
This would be another dream come true for Susan Boyle, as she has already said that listening to Donny Osmond when she was younger inspired her to sing. Indeed, she says she was “obsessed” with him when she was a teenager. Gerard Boyle, Susan’s brother, said: “His posters were all over her walls. She would lock herself in her room and play the records over and over again singing along as loud as possible. It used to drive me mad when I would hear it start up the hundredth time. But our mum would say ‘Leave her alone, it’s all she’s got’.”
Donny Osmond has said: “I would die to do a duet with her.”
Well Donny, it looks like you’ll have to take your place in the queue behind Elaine Paige!
