Two Susan Boyle Biographies
Two Susan Boyle biographies are to be published within weeks of each other.
The first biography, entitled Dreams Can Come True, is due for release in both the UK and the US on February 9th. The second biography, Living the Dream, is now already available from Amazon in the UK.
Dreams Can Come True is written by Alice Montgomery, and is on sale at Amazon for a pre-sale price of £6.29 for the paperback edition. The hardback edition is available for a pre-sale price of £12.20 at the time of writing. The hardback version in the US is currently priced at $14.93.
Living the Dream is written by John McShane, who also wrote a biography on Heath Ledger. This book is currently available from Amazon.co.uk for £6.29, but a release date for the US is not yet availalble.
Both of these books are unauthorised, which is a surprise to me because I would have thought that $imon Cowell would have beaten them to it with an authorised version.
However, he did say to me: “Mandy, I know, I know, but I just can’t do everything myself”.
Well, actually he didn’t say that to me. He doesn’t know me from Adam. But I got you all going, didn’t I?
Susan Boyle to fly to Prague to record her debut album
Susan Boyle is likely to get renewed success with her career despite losing out to Diversity, the street dance troupe, in last night’s final of Britain’s Got Talent.
She is all set to fly to Prague to record her debut album, according to reports in the media.
She will start rehearsing a series of showtunes that will appear on the album this week and will fly to Prague next month in order to lay down tracks accompanied by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
Dusan Mihaly, the orchestra’s manager, said: “I am excited, happy, my dreams are being fulfilled.
“All of Prague will welcome her and what we want most is to have a performance with her in public.
“Sony BMG, Susan’s record label, liked our sound and so wanted Susan to record with us. The album will have a big Broadway sound with a 70-member orchestra behind it.”
The same orchestra were used on Britain’s Got Talent’s 2007 winner Paul Potts new album Passione.
It is thought that other projects that will involve Susan Boyle include a film of her life story, and a biography.
