Susan Boyle Ticket Scam

Susan Boyle ticket scamSusan Boyle’s official website has posted a statement telling Susafans not to buy any tickets for tour dates in Australia and New Zealand – because she had no current plans to perform there.

The website says: “Please do not be tempted to purchase tickets should you see any for sale as these will be fake. The official Susan Boyle website will always let you know first if Susan is performing anywhere in the world.”

A spokesman for Susan told the Daily Star: “We can confirm a hoax e-mail was sent to newsrooms saying she was going to perform concert dates in Australia and New Zealand.

“We can categorically deny Susan was scheduled to play any dates in either of these two countries.”

It is believed that the sender of the e-mail has been identified.

Susan Boyle Australian Interview – Lovely!!

Here is the Susan Boyle “Living the Dream” interview as shown on Australian TV, delightfully interviewed by Charles Wooley on Channel 9. I am unable to embed the first part of the interview, so you will have to click the this link here to view the first half.

It’s funny, I went to Edinburgh Castle about four weeks ago – I kept saying to my husband, “I wonder if we’ll bump into Susan Boyle”. And we went to Edinburgh Castle. Looks like I picked the wrong day. It would have been lovely if I had bumped into her, but I doubt I would have known what to say. Blushes and looks tongue tied!!

Thanks to Eloise for bringing this interview to my attention.

Susan Boyle Fantastic Australian TV Interview

Here is the ultimate interview of Susan Boyle by Molly Meldrum that was filmed and broadcast in Australia. It’s a really lovely interview as you get to see Susan’s light hearted personality, Susan’s joys and sadness, and really get to know her and relate to her.

The interview starts with Molly saying to Susan: “It’s the first time I’ve interviewed someone who’s number one around the world. I’m not going to frighten you…”

“You’re not frightening!” Guffaws Susan – and that kind of sets the tone.

There are sad moments too, when Susan shares her anguish that her mum is not alive to see the great success that Susan has had. I think we can all empathise with that.

“I know she would have been proud of me now,” says Susan, with tears in her eyes.

When later reminded of her astounding success, Susan humbly says “All I do is open my gob!”

However, she feels that she communicates with the audience when she sings, and has been told that she becomes a different person when she sings.

Watch the full interview and it will bring tears to your eyes too :-)
