Susan has “Cash Crisis” according to Gerry Boyle

Susan Boyle is restricted to ?300 per week and cannot afford to furnish her new home, according to an article in the News of the World.
Hmm. I really don’t believe this one. At all. I seem to remember Susan was fed up with her brothers talking to the press, wasn’t she?
Anyway, for completeness here is a summary of what has been said. It would appear that Gerry Boyle told the News of the World: “When Susan realised she can’t just walk into a bank and take out her own money she had a fit because she thought she was down to her last few quid.
“Her millions are ring-fenced but Susan has no concept of money. She was extremely distressed. She lives in fear of losing everything and returning to her old life before she made it big.”
Gerry says an emergency meeting was held at Susan’s ex-council house on June 17th, with brother John and sister Mary.
“Susan said to me, ‘I’ve been told I get ?300 a week because I’m a novice. I don’t have the money to go and buy the furniture’.
“So she’s still stuck in the small council house where we all grew up. She should be able to walk into a bank anywhere and say she wants ?50,000 cash. That may not be advisable, but it would be HER choice because it’s HER money.
“Susan is baffled about money. All she wants to do is sing. So we asked the questions that should have been asked a while ago: WHY doesn’t she even have a credit card? WHY does she feel she doesn’t have control over her finances?
“Susan isn’t financially astute but she IS worried about her situation. She looks very distraught at the moment. And we’ve got worries about her safety, too. She visits the local Tesco most days all on her own. So we raised concerns about security with her management.
“Susan doesn’t look as if she’s a successful international chart star. She’s lonely and downtrodden. And she’s got this paranoia that she’s going to go back to square one, back to where she was before Britain’s Got Talent.”
A spokesperson for SyCo said: “Finances are handled between artists and their management. We do not comment on such matters.”

Well Gerry looks like you are sticking your nose in Susan business again. Iwould think you learned your lesson before about speaking out about susan but guess not.Very surprised you have not said anything about her wenting a unknown to sigh with her.This just tell here fans that she is a very kind hearted person and not really interested in the wealth that comes with it. but on the other hand thats all you seem to be interested in how much money she is making and how to get your hands on it.
That’s pretty much how I see it, nanny1. Seems to me the only person worried about Susan’s money is this brother. Strange that he didn’t show such touching concern for her welfare when she was caring for their mother, on her own. I’m fairly sure the reason her money is tied up is partly to keep it out of his greedy little paws.
Well Margie i went on you tube and put in interviews with gerry boyle . Well i read at least 100 and he does not have anything good to say about susan. In everyone all he says that she is being taken advantage of but this is i think done to make every one think that he has her best interest at heart BUT WHAT A JOKE HE IS.All gerry boyle went is to run her life like he did before she became famous, As for susan going out on her own this is what she wents yes she is a superstar but still went to lead a normal life .GERRY DO US ALL A FAVOR AND STAY OUT OF SUSAN LIFE.
Maybe Gerry feels the need to continue to control his sister. He seems to be a control freak. All of Susan’s smiles are happy smiles. Let her run her own life. She’s old enough for that. Susan is a true artist and expresses that through her music. Her life for Susan may have been hard but I hope that she now knows the joys that her artistry brings to everyone and this should prove to her that she is worthy of all the love that people shower upon. This will give her the confidence that she so rightly deseves and allow her to spread her wings and live her life as she wants it to be. I’m sure that her management team are doing what is best for her, as she has expressed over and over again. Gerry, leave our Susan alone. She is a big girl now and can take care of herself – stop interfering so much. Susan doesn’t need that kind of stress in her life. She need love, support and assurance not domination!
