Susan Boyle comes second in the final of Britain’s Got Talent final

susan-boyle-singing-in-britains-got-talent-final-2Susan Boyle has come second in the Britain’s Got Talent final. The results have just been announced live on ITV. In third place was saxophinist Julian Smith, in second place Susan Boyle and in first place were the dance troupe Diversity.

Susan Boyle put on an amazing performance and I’m sure she will have a fantastic career in front of her. Nevertheless, Diversity put on one of the finest dance displays that I have ever seen, and certainly their choreographer is a genius.

Having said that, I still wanted Susan to win and I thought that she would win – well, this is a Susan Boyle fan site after all – but nevertheless, I saw the expression on Susan’s face when the results were announced, and I definitely saw relief there – relief that perhaps now the pressure would be off her.

Susan warmly congratulated Diversity with grace and dignity, saying that “the best people won” and she wished them “all the best.”

I am convinced that Susan has a glittering career in front of her, and I know she is loved hugely by people from all over the world, and especially the US. I am sure that she will have a number one album before very long – I think Mr Cowell will make sure of that – and I will certainly be buying it.

Good luck Susan, in everything you do!

Just discovered this site in my quest to find out the results of BGT. I’m disappointed that Susan didn’t win, but I agree she’ll have a brilliant career. I cannot wait to purchase her first CD! Thanks for this site and love to Susan from the Bluegrass!

Susan Boyle – I hope you read this. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE you. I am stunned that you did not win the competition. But having said that I am so excited for it to be over for you so that you can get on with a great career. I just saw your performance and with all the pressure you must have felt you really just did an amazing job in the final.
I do so hope that Simon is giving you a recording contract and that you hurry up and get your cd out there. You have won me over a thousand times by your sincerity and just something about you that I believe lives in your heart and that is a true desire to sing. I LOVE that and we have not seen the likes of you in a long long time if ever. You have a god given talent and a wonderful lovely energy about you. I wish you nothing but the greatest success in your life and that ALL YOUR DREAMS NOW COME TRUE. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all. I will be watching for you and cannot wait to buy your cd. All the best from Los Angeles, CA!!! My hat is off to you!!!!!

I am sorry Susan didn’t win but I hope she will make and album, sing for President Obama and enjoy her success. She deserves a little bit of fame and although the dance troupe were very good I am sure the Queen would have enjoyed hearing her sing more. Good Luck Susan!

I felt sorry that Susan didn’t win the final, however, there is a bright future ahead of her just as you said. She did set up a good example for all of us. For those who are trying to make their dream come true, Susan is like a gift from heaven, and I hope Susan could take the life ahead in the stride.

Best wishes to Susan from China.

    Hi Susan,

It is almost midnight in UK, and the news has already circled around the Earth.

For a little more than a month now, I’ve been dreaming a dream. Somehow, this evening the dream has failed to accomplish, but this isn’t a failure. What is most important, this isn’t _your_ failure.

“Diversity” are really good. I think they deserve the recognition because they earned it. Yet, with all due respect to the the winner, they’re only the winner. They’re not closer to my heart, in any way. You, on the contrary, you are. Your first performance (during the audition) was stunning. You made me cry. (Please, readers, don’t throw rocks at me, I’m only a human being, like you…) I’ve been watching your audience clip many times, and every time you touched my heart. You, the “frumpy” singer, you, the “simple Susan”. I wasn’t born yesterday, and I’ve seen (and heard) a lot. Yet, you touched me much more than many others.
Not being the first in a contest doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not good or that people love you less. Tastes and opinions are greatly diverging. Six weeks ago I didn’t know you existed. Now, somehow, you’ve managed to change my life. I’m watching your clip, now and then, and every time I feel better. What better gift could you ever have given to me?

I _do_ hope you’ll become a professional singer. You greatly deserve it. You’re a true star on this (quite) tarnished sky of 2009. I hope the media will grant you more peaceful moments (but I hope they’ll not forget you).

Be blessed along with your cat. Be loved, and may all your dreams come true! Most of all, may you always be yourself! We need people like you to remind us that there are still human beings in this f___ing material world!

    Hello Susan:

I am from Canada. I just heard the news tonight that you have been admitted to hospital for rest. I want you to know that you have many fans around the world. You have been an inspiration to many as well. I have followed your talent on BGT from the first performance to your last. I must say that even though you did not come in first, you are still the winner of the show. I would not doubt that you still get a request to meet the queen and sing for her. If the world has heard of you and been been following you, who is to say the queen herself has not been one of them? Besides that every record company out there knows that many people around the world adore your voice and your singing. You won more than 800 000 votes!!!!And that is just in Britian amoung the peple who could vote. What record company would not offer you a deal knowing they have 800 000 potential fans who would buy a CD? And so I have no doubt that your life will never be the same. You are a celebrity Susan. I have no doubt that you will have opportunities knocking on your door. I for one and my mother will be buying a copy of your CD.

But for right now… take the rest from the public spotlight. Take care of yourself and get well soon. As for the critics. Ignore them Susan. Refuse to read the articles. Your a celebrity now and you will never please everyone and dont try too. People fell in love with your talent and your personality just the way you are.

People can be cruel and the journalists only want a headline for their career. Its totally disgusting behaviour. I echo the sentiments expressed at your final performance by the judges. You can hold your head up high Susan. You Did it. Your a winner!

    Sincerely yours,

    Allison from Canada
