Susan Boyle singing Unchained Melody

Susan Boyle treated the audience of America’s Dancing With The Stars to her version of the 1955 Righteous Brothers song, Unchained Melody, on Tuesday night, and you can watch the clip below.

The song will be on Susan’s forthcoming third album, Someone To Watch Over Me, which is out on November 1st.

Susan said of the song: ”Well it was first made famous by the Righteous Brothers during the 60′s.

“It’s about a broken relationship, but it’s a love song. I really like the different arrangement of this version. I’m sure people will see the name and think ‘Oh that again!’ But this one’s totally different and is quite surprising.”

Susan Boyle to Star in Reality “Fly on the Wall” TV Show

Susan Boyle reality TV showSusan Boyle is to star in her own reality TV show, which will demonstrate how little her life has changed since she found fame on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. The cameras will follow Susan around in her hometown of Blackburn, showing her going shopping for groceries andattending church.

The film crew have been filming Susan since January, and included in the footage is backstage before her performance on China’s Got Talent and recording the charity duet I Know Him So Well with Peter Kay.

A source told the Daily Record: “Despite the fact she’s had this enormous success in record sales, she wanted to show her fans she’s still the same Susan.

“She still lives in the same house and has a normal life.

“Since the beginning of 2011, she has been filmed for a fly-on-the-wall documentary about her life.”

The program will be aired on ITV1 just before the release of her new album Someone to Watch Over Me on November 7th.

Susan Boyle’s Third Album

Susan Boyle You Have to be ThereSusan Boyle’s third album will be released on November 1st. Entitled To Watch Over Me, Susan performed a track that appears on the album You Have to Be There on last night’s America’s Got Talent.

The track has an excellent pedigree. It was written by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus and is taken from the Swedish musical that they wrote, called Kristina.

Good luck with the single, Susan, but you won’t need it. It will be a massive hit. And whilst you’re singing Abba songs, why not sing “Story of a Heart” that Benny Andersson wrote a couple of years ago. I think that would be a massive hit for you too.

Susan Boyle’s Life on Stage

Susan Boyle and Elaine C SmithSusan Boyle’s life story is set to be turned into a stage musical, according to the BBC. Elaine C Smith, who resembles Susan, is set to play Ms Boyle. Elaine C Smith is best known for her role as Rab C Nesbitt’s wife Mary.

Susan said: “I never thought my life story would end up on the stage.

“A lot has happened in two years and it is a very exciting prospect. I hope everyone enjoys the show and I promise there will be a few surprises along the way.”

The show will be called, unsurprisingly, “I Dreamed a Dream” and is set to tour for at least six months next year. It will be produced by Michael Harrison, who said: : “She is an inspiring woman and her story is an excellent one to tell – someone with a raw talent who surprises the world and overturns all the odds to make a new life for herself.

“It’s got all the qualities of a fairytale, but with the added bonus of being absolutely true.”

The show will open in Newcastle at the Theatre Royal and tickets will go on sale next month. The tour is currently scheduled for the UK, US and Australia, according to the Daily Express.
